Buying healthy gifts for others can be tricky, especially if you’re not on the same page about standards. Health is so deeply personal that it can be tricky to buy a healthy gift for someone without being insulting.
The good news is… there are some options for giving healthy gifts without stepping on toes! Check out my list of top 5 healthy gift options:
Know they love going to the gym, run all the time, or never miss their yoga class? Workout clothes could be a super welcome gift (as long as you know their size!).
Don’t know the size or style to pick? A gift card to their favorite brand also works.
If they’ve never expressed an interest in health before, certain books could be a bit insulting. For example, if your gift receiver is overweight but you’ve never discussed weight loss with them before, don’t give a book about losing weight. Use some common sense here!
For the reader who could dig some healthy knowledge, some great authors in the health & wellness sphere include:
- Dave Asprey: The Bulletproof Diet, Head Strong, Game Changers, Super Human
- Vani Hari: Feeding You Lies
- Dr. Mark Hyman: What The Heck Should I Eat?, Eat Fat Get Thin, The Ultramind Solution
- John Grey: Men Are From Mars Women Are From Venus, Beyond Mars and Venus
- Dr. Jolene Brighten: Beyond The Pill
- Gretchen Rubin: The 4 Tendencies, The Happiness Project
- Shawn Stevenson: Sleep Smarter
For the tech lover in your life:
- EMF blocking pad
- Blue blocking glasses
- App subscription
- Oura ring
- Pure Wave massager
Essential oils can be rather inexpensive but very thoughtful as a gift. You can go with the basics such as tea tree, lavender, and peppermint. Or amp it up with some citrus or more flowery options for those who are familiar with oils.
My favorite place to shop is Rocky Mountain Oils. They are super high quality and decent on price.
You can do a lot with baskets or bundles as a gift. If your gift receiver is already on the health train, you can include a bunch of their favorite staple beauty products. Or if they’re a little new to the idea of clean skin care, this is your chance to open their eyes without being “in your face”.
Include items like masks, creams, soaps, scrubs, and even makeup.
